After what was a grueling night in the PWA, ‘Payback’ was an eventful night for the PWA Faithful. A score was settled, as Robbie Eagles joined the very short list of people to defeat Ahmed Iblis in singles action. After a victory in the Hair vs Mask encounter, Jorge Del Homos finally grabbed Ash Riot by the fauxhawk and chopped it off, ending their heated feud. The women of the PWWA collided in an exciting 6 Woman Tag Team Match, amongst other huge matches. It seems the month of August will continue to show fallout from victories, loses and everything in between. PWA returns to the Liverpool Masonic Center on Friday the 6th of August. ‘Battle Lines’ will be drawn!

Handicap Match
The New Impact Players (Sean O’Shea & Mikey Broderick) vs Bluey Bonza

Being disgusted with not being able to compete for the belt that Sean O’Shea claims is rightfully his, Sean decided to interfere in the number one contender match between Bluey Bonza and Mikey Broderick. This sent Bluey into a rage and sick of the constant shenanigans of the Impact Players challenged both of them to a match. Bluey has been one of the most dominant wrestlers in current PWA history but has he bitten off more then he can chew in the taking on the most dominant tag team in Australia in Sean O’Shea and Mikey Broderick.

Singles Match
Ahmed Iblis vs Robby Heart [SA]

The near undefeatable Ahmed Iblis, defines the term ‘Beast’. He has destroyed nearly everything in his path. Last month he encountered a hiccup in his quest to regain his title, loosing to perennial underdog Robbie Eagles. Ahmed has stated he wants his Heavyweight title back and to do this he intends to make an example of NWA Australian champion Robby Heart. Robby Heart has been electric in his home state, South Australia. Winning the NWA Australian heavyweight title. “Why stop there?” says the enigmatic Heart. After an impressive debut Heart looks to stamp his dominance in PWA too, and that means he too wants gold around his waist. PWA gold.

Singles Match
Damian Slater [SA] vs ‘Above Average’ Robbie Eagles

Walking into ‘Battle Lines’ off a huge win, Robbie Eagles accomplished what very little people have, and that is defeating Ahmed Iblis. Earlier in July, the two had a rematch from their 2009 Match of the Year, and now the score is 1-1, with Robbie avenging his loss in 2009. His next opponent is arguably one of the best wrestlers in the country today, ‘The Golden Boy’ Damian Slater. The native of South Australia returns to New South Wales after an impressive victory in the NSW vs SA Challenge match at ‘Call to Arms IV’, and is looking to take down one half of the exciting Light Speed Express on August 6th.

A1GP Championship
Singles Match
Mat Diamond [Champion] vs Gene Kelly [Challenger]

Bubbling under the surface has been the hatred between these two. Once inseparable as a tag team, now to bitter enemies, Gene Kelly gets his first A1GP Championship shot against the exciting high flier, Mat Diamond. After brutal assaults, Diamond finally gets his opportunity to take on Kelly in a singles contest. With such high stakes on the line, will either man be completely focused? Kelly has the opportunity to become the second person to have held both the PWA Heavyweight and A1GP Championships. Diamond is looking to keep his streak running strong, aiming to be the longest reigning A1GP Champion. The A1GP Championship is set to be defended the following night at ‘Unbreakable 2010′. As the current champion, Diamond will be looking to stay as fresh as possible for the second night. The same thought will go through the head of Kelly, as he may be the one defending the title on that second night.

PWA Australia makes it’s return to the Belfield RSL in Belfield on Saturday the 7th of August for ‘Unbreakable 2010′. There have been many historic events witnessed at the Belfield RSL, titles being defended against challengers from all over the country, alliances disintergrating, friends turning on friends, rivalries ended and some of the best matches in Australia have taken place inside the walls of the Belfield RSL. ‘Unbreakable 2010′ will prove no different, and the matches signed thus far are shaping to be possible Match of the Year candidates.

A1GP Championship Match
Singles Match
Mat Diamond [Champion] vs Damian Slater [Challenger]
What will be the second defense of the A1GP Championship over two nights, Mat Diamond squares off against South Australia’s self proclaimed ‘Golden Boy’ Damian Slater. Slater has a goal of taking out both members of the Light Speed Express during his next tenure in PWA. Facing off against Robbie Eagles a night previous, he may work out a tactical plan on how to beat the exciting duo as both men are quite similar in styles. Diamond is always unpredictable, pulling out new offense that no one has ever seen before. This match up for the A1GP Title will be an exciting contest.

Tag Team Match
PWA Heavyweight Champion ‘Aequitas’ Ryan Eagles & Robby Heart [SA] vs The New Impact Players (Sean O’Shea & Mikey Broderick)
The New Impact Players have continued to show their dominance in the tag team division, and look to do so yet again at ‘Unbreakable 2010′ on August 7th. Their challengers this time around are a new formed team of the explosive Robby Heart making his return to PWA, and current PWA Heavyweight Champion Ryan Eagles coming back from an injury. Ryan and Heart have the same thought in mind, to defeat the New Impact Players and take them off of their high horse. Defeating such a well oiled machine that is the duo of Broderick and O’Shea will not be an easy task, as they have gone through nearly every tag team put in front of them.

Matches already signed for PWA’s ‘Theory of Revolution’, taking place Friday the 4th of June at the Liverpool Masonic Center, Liverpool (corner of Hume Highway and Memorial Avenue).

MAIN EVENT
PWA Heavyweight Championship
Singles Match‘Aequitas’ Ryan Eagles [Champion] vs Ahmed Iblis [Challenger]

As the new champion, and having been in this position before, Ryan Eagles knows what to expect of a title reign. This time may be a little different to when he was champion almost three years ago, as he has former champion and tyrant of PWA, Ahmed Iblis chasing after him and his PWA Heavyweight Championship. Ever since losing the title in December of last year, Iblis has continued his path of rampage until it has led him back into title contention. Last Friday at ‘Rise Against’, he won a 3 Way Dance to become the #1 Contender. Iblis’ mind is set on him becoming the PWA Heavyweight Champion yet again. This may be a tough feat, as Ryan can seemingly withstand any amount of punishment. Gene Kelly destroyed three chairs in violent fashion of Ryan’s head, busting him wide open, and was still unable to defeat him. This match up has been in the making for a long time, and finally comes to fruition. It will definitely be a classic main event that will be talked about for a long time.

Singles Match
Gene Kelly w/Matt Bailey vs Robby Heart

The now former champion takes on the man who hails from South Australia, and is the current holder of the NWA Australian Championship. Gene Kelly steps into the ring, to face off against Robby Heart. Sparks will fly between these two men, as Kelly has proved he can hold his own against the best there is out there, although it may be due to some underhanded tactics. Heart has travelled all around Australia, from Victoria, Queensland and of course his home state of South Australia, displaying his amazing athleticism and incredible high-flying manoeuvers. The question is, can Robby Heart get the win in his debut in PWA, or will Gene Kelly return to winning ways, and plunge himself back into title contention?

Tag Team Match
Madison Eagles & KC Cassidy vs PWWA Champion Jessie McKay & Kellie Skater

The women’s division and PWWA are going to be represented in a huge match on Friday the 4th of June at ‘Theory of Revolution’. Kellie Skater returns to team up with someone she has partnered with before, the PWWA Champion Jessie McKay. Their opponents are none other than the exciting youngster KC Cassidy and current Shimmer Wrestling Champion, Madison Eagles. The distain between McKay and Madison continues on, and does not look to end anytime soon. This time, they are getting allies into the mix. Cassidy wants to get her hands back on McKay after she was kicked in the face at the Belfield RSL during ‘Glory’ back in May, unprovoked by the PWWA Champion. McKay called in a favour with Skater, so she wouldn’t be facing too very angry women.

Singles Match
Mike Valuable vs Médico Asesino

Being unsuccessful in what became an impromptu 3 Way Dance to crown the new #1 Contender to the PWA Heavyweight title earlier this month at ‘Rise Again’st, Mike Valuable will be working his way back up to the top spot. He is going to begin from the bottom once again, and starts his climb back to contention by facing off against one of the Médico Asesinos. It is unknown as to which Médico Asesino will challenge Valuable on the 4th of June, and still very little is known about this new tag team. However, they both share unique offense, and whomever it is that steps into the ring with Valuable will be looking to use that to his advantage.

Singles Match
‘First Mate’ William Kidd w/Polly The Parrot vs Bluey Bonza

A first time singles meeting in PWA history, William Kidd and Bluey Bonza step into the squared circle and will go head-to-head in a match up at ‘Theory of Revolution’ at the Liverpool Masonic Center. Having faced off in several matches before, mostly multi-person, both men have a good idea of what the other is capable of. This time around, Kidd has had more matches under his belt, and more experience. He has become more wiley in his ways, but Bonza has been showing sheer dominance in the singles division of the PWA roster as of late. Kidd has found himself being distracted by his parrot, Polly at times as well. Will Polly prove to be a hinderance for Kidd?

8 Man Elimination Tag Team Match
Jorge Del Homos, Brian Seeker, A1GP Champion Mat Diamond & ‘Above Average’ Robbie Eagles vs JT Robinson, Ash Riot & The New Impact Players (Sean O’Shea & Mikey Broderick)

8 men in one ring. A lot of scores to be settled in this one, as a continuous hatred for Jorge Del Homos still burns inside JT Robinson and Ash Riot. Seeker being the latest person to team with everyone’s favourite pink luchador is furious after their tag team loss to Riot & Robinson earlier in May, feeling that it was a very cheap win for the duo. While Seeker wants to get back a victory he feels robbed of, within this match two teams clash for the first time. Mat Diamond & Robbie Eagles have been making waves in the tag team division since becoming an official tag team. However, a team Diamond is very familiar with in the New Impact Players will be on the other side of the squared circle this Friday. Arguably one of the greatest teams in Australia today, O’Shea and Broderick want to cement that statement by shutting down the upstart team. This match up is set to possibly be one of the best in PWA for 2010!

New South Wales vs South Australia Challenge
Singles Match
Bluey Bonza (NSW) vs Damian Slater (SA)

In March of this year, the man known as ‘The Golden Boy’ from South Australia made shockwaves in PWA during his debut. That man was Damian Slater. Although he was unsuccessful in his match up against current PWA Heavyweight Champion Ryan Eagles, the skills he displayed impressed everyone, even those who may not have agreed with his attitude or tactics. Returning to the PWA ring on the 11th of June at ‘Call to Arms IV’, he is going to have an outstanding challenge in front of him. Slater will be facing off against one of the biggest men in PWA, Bluey Bonza. Bonza is coming off a win over Sean O’Shea, in what was a possible Match of the Year contender. Bonza has never backed down from a challenge, and when asked if he would want to compete against Slater to represent New South Wales, there is no hesitance in his answer. The match has been signed and will take place at ‘Call to Arms IV’!’

PWA Heavyweight Championship
Singles Match
Winner of Ahmed Iblis/Ryan Eagles on 4/6 [Champion] vs Slex (Victoria) [Challenger]

Slex is a man who can say he’s done it all. Having travelled all over the country, held championships in various promotions, as well as being one of the most exciting wrestlers on the Australian scene currently. Representing his state of Victoria, he is a member of the original PWA, but this will be his first time competing in the PWA Australia ring. Whomever comes out the victor of the huge title match at ‘Theory of Revolution’ out of Ahmed Iblis and current PWA Heavyweight Champion Ryan Eagles is set to take on Slex in what will be one of the biggest title matches to take place in PWA Australia history.
